What a weird past couple weeks. I think I'm about to be let go from my job, but I stumbled across another, a sales job at a little trinket shop in the village. I got into a conversation with the owner there about runes and I showed him the set I made forever ago, and he's wanting me to help him sell his divination products. Not that I know a whole lot about it, I've played around with it some, but he seems to think I know what I'm talking about some. Lucky me!

A house elf? I hate to sound ungrateful, but... what kind of a present is that? It doesn't seem right, having it, him, I guess, around. It's kind of creepy and sad looking. And I'm not sure I want it cleaning up after me, even though I guess it'd leave me with a lot less work to do.

Felt so good to go to the gym and work out today. It's been a while. I've got to start making that a daily thing again.

Guess I thought I was getting enough of a workout with this place of ours. Starting to get it put together. Most of it's been painted now. Still looking for more furniture. The family wants to stop over soon, but I want it halfway decent looking first. The cats are finally getting used to it, I think.

Good news, I'm caught up with ALL my schoolwork and my grades are good enough that I don't have to worry about not graduating. I know, sounds like a dumb thing to have been worrying about, but I had good reason to. And more good news, I guess, got a job for the summer. Nothing exciting, just a job working a small farm at the edge of town, but it'll bring money in.

Bring a resume? I don't have much of a resume. I did some farmhand work back home for a couple of summers. I modeled last summer. But that's it. I don't think either would look good at all on a resume.

Anyone know of anyplace in the village that's hiring? I should look now so I have something in place for when school ends. I know it's a few months away still, but it'll be here all too soon.

Am home with the family and Lucas, getting ready for school. My baby brother's coming this year, there will be three of us at Benoit now, so everyone's excited and my mom's freaking out about the baby going off to school. Which of course led to talk about grandbabies. I'm glad I have older sisters to take care of that so I'm not expected to! Though not anytime too soon!

And I don't think I told anyone in here yet, but I'm going to some Quidditch World Cup games with Lucas! He got tickets! I really do have the best boyfriend ever.

Just got an owl from my mom. One of my dad's co-workers died the other night. Sad news.

Work's going well so far. It's different. But I'm SO GLAD Lucas is here with me. I'd hate it if he wasn't.
